Week 11 of the 2025 NFL season brings one of the most anticipated matchups of the year as the Detroit Lions face the Philadelphia Eagles, a game loaded with fantasy implications. With both teams fighting for playoff position and both offenses capable of explosive plays, managers will need to make sharp decisions. Here’s your full 500-word Start ’Em, Sit ’Em breakdown for the matchup happening today.

START ’EM

Amon-Ra St. Brown – WR, Detroit Lions

St. Brown remains a target monster and continues to be the engine of Detroit’s passing game. Even in tough matchups, his volume is too elite to bench. The Eagles’ secondary has been inconsistent throughout the season, allowing big performances to top-tier route runners. Expect double-digit targets again. Pencil him in confidently as a WR1.

Jahmyr Gibbs – RB, Detroit Lions

Gibbs’ dual-threat ability makes him a must-start in Week 11. The Eagles have struggled against explosive backs who can damage teams in space, and Gibbs is exactly that profile. With Detroit using him creatively in motion sets and swing routes, he’s poised for a productive day, especially in PPR formats.

Jalen Hurts – QB, Philadelphia Eagles

Hurts remains matchup-proof. His ability to produce with both his arm and legs means his fantasy floor is always safe. Detroit’s defense has improved, but they still give up chunk plays to mobile quarterbacks. Hurts’ red-zone rushing usage puts him firmly in the QB1 conversation this week.

DeVonta Smith – WR, Philadelphia Eagles

Smith has emerged as the more consistent threat in recent weeks as defenses shift coverage toward A.J. Brown. His chemistry with Hurts has grown even stronger, and Detroit has allowed secondary receivers to find space. Smith is a great WR2 with WR1 upside.

SIT ’EM

David Montgomery – RB, Detroit Lions

Montgomery has touchdown upside, but his floor is concerning this week. The Eagles boast one of the league’s top run defenses, and Detroit may lean more heavily on Gibbs in space rather than running into the heart of Philadelphia’s front. Montgomery becomes touchdown-dependent, making him risky in Week 11.

Dallas Goedert – TE, Philadelphia Eagles

Goedert’s role has been unpredictable this season, and Detroit has been stout against tight ends. With Hurts often opting for outside throws or scrambling, Goedert’s target share has been too volatile for fantasy managers to trust. There are better streaming options this week.

Jameson Williams – WR, Detroit Lions

Williams’ big-play potential makes him enticing, but this matchup doesn’t set up well for boom-or-bust profiles. The Eagles’ outside corners can be physical, and Williams’ target volume remains inconsistent. Unless you’re desperate for upside, he’s better left on the bench.
