The impossible has just become reality.
Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have officially announced “Got Back Together,” their first-ever co-headlining world tour — a historic 32-date run that will see the two surviving Beatles share the stage for full-length performances in 2026 and early 2027.
In a joint video posted this morning, Paul and Ringo sat side by side on a simple stage, acoustic guitars in hand. Paul spoke first: “We’ve both been lucky enough to keep playing all these years. But there’s something special about doing it together again — like coming home.” Ringo, smiling wide, added: “The fans never stopped asking. So here we are. Let’s do this properly.”

The setlist is expected to be a dream blend of Beatles classics, solo hits, and rare deep cuts. Paul and Ringo will perform together for the majority of the show, backed by a powerhouse band featuring Steve Lukather, Greg Phillinganes, Abe Laboriel Jr., and others who’ve toured with them individually. Expect “Hey Jude,” “Let It Be,” “With a Little Help from My Friends,” “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” “Come Together,” “Something,” “Band on the Run,” “Photograph,” “Maybe I’m Amazed,” and many more.
Production promises to be spectacular yet intimate: massive screens showing unseen archival footage, a circular stage design so every seat feels close, and special lighting sequences synced to the music. Both artists have committed to making the tour as eco-conscious as possible, with carbon-offset programs and sustainable venue partnerships.
Presale for fan-club members begins next week; general onsale follows shortly after. VIP packages include meet-and-greets, signed memorabilia, early entry, and exclusive pre-show acoustic sets.
Social media is already in meltdown. #PaulAndRingo2026 and #GotBackTogether are trending worldwide with fans posting: “I’m crying — this is the reunion we waited 50+ years for” “Seeing them sing ‘Hey Jude’ together again… my heart isn’t ready” “Booking flights to London right now.
