Professional Bull Riders (PBR), the premierorganization in bull riding, has issued several official announcements and updates in early November 2025, highlighting championship results, upcoming events, media partnerships, and international achievements as the sport transitions into the new Unleash The Beast season.
On November 5, PBR and Paramount+ announced a landmark five-year media rights deal, making Paramount+ the exclusive streaming home for the Unleash The Beast tour starting with the 2026 season opener on December 12 in Manchester, New Hampshire. CBS Sports Executive VP Dan Weinberg stated, “CBS Sports has been the home of PBR for decades, and we are proud to deepen our partnership by bringing the Unleash The Beast series to our expanding streaming audience on Paramount+.” PBR CEO Sean Gleason added that the deal reflects a shared commitment to expanding reach.
Following the 2025 PBR Teams Championship in Las Vegas from October 24-26, PBR celebrated the Carolina Cowboys’ first franchise title. The Cowboys defeated the Missouri Thunder in overtime, led by Clay Guiton’s 88-point ride and MVP honors. Back-to-back MVP John Crimber was highlighted for his 73.53% ride percentage and five 90-point rides, edging Brady Fielder by 84 points.
In Canada, PBR announced qualifiers for the 2025 Command Tubular PBR Canada National Finals on November 14-15 in Edmonton, Alberta. Top contenders include No. 1 Jared Parsonage, No. 2 Dakota Buttar (63.83% riding percentage), and No. 3 Jake Gardner. Bullfighters Jesse Byrne, Tanner Byrne, and Brett Monea were named, marking the first time the Byrne brothers work the event together.
PBR Canada also revealed contenders for 2025 Canadian Global PBR Bull of the Year, led by Thompson Rodeo Livestock’s Moonwalk with multiple Bull of the Event titles. Grand Funk was noted for bucking off riders in seven outs, ridden only once by Parsonage for 88.5 points.
Internationally, Australian rider Callum Miller represented his country at the PBR Canadian Championships, fresh off competing in the PBR Australia National Championships—his first home event in 10 years. PBR Australia Managing Director Glen Young praised Miller’s strong season.
The Unleash The Beast season kicked off November 15-16 in Tucson, Arizona, with top riders pursuing World Finals qualification in Fort Worth, Texas. PBR renewed its TSN broadcast partnership for 2025-26, ensuring extensive Canadian coverage.
Additionally, the Bull Riders of Canada Finals concluded November 8 in Sylvan Lake, with local Jhett Wheeler claiming victory after an 82-point ride.
These statements underscore PBR’s growth, from media expansions and team triumphs to national finals and global talent. As Gleason noted on the Paramount+ deal, it aligns with longstanding partnerships to broaden the sport’s audience. The organization continues emphasizing rider safety, fan engagement, and international expansion amid a packed schedule.
