Tiger Woods recently announced that he will not compete in the upcoming Hero World Challenge, scheduled for December 2024, as he continues to recover from back surgery. This is his sixth back surgery, performed in September to alleviate pain and spasms caused by a herniated disc. Although Woods will serve as the event’s host in the Bahamas, his rehabilitation process means he is not yet ready to return to competitive play.
Fans are now looking ahead to his potential participation in other events, including the PNC Championship alongside his son, Charlie, and the inaugural season of the TGL golf league starting in January 2025.
